About Gokulakrishna
As Creative Director at Beej Academy, Singapore, I am a full time Musician, Graded Artiste of All India Radio for Vocal & Violin and do independent musical productions.
We, at Beej have developed an extensive curriculum on Indian music which primarily focusses on developing Students musical acumen through a series of meticulously structured exercises on Vocal, Violin & Flute.

The class is will be taught online through Zoom / Skype /Google Meet and will cover the foundations of Indian Music in progressive modules adding finer complexities to build the foundation. Classes are scheduled at 1 session / week for 50 mins, on one to one basis.
For Vocal : The module will be primarily focus on the Musical Foundation beginning with Musical Nuances, Tala, exercises in Complete, Allied and Derived Ragas and a repertoire of assorted short musical compositions in languages : Sanskrit, Telugu, Kannada & Tamil.
For Instrumental : The key objective is to develop virtuosity by learning the right techniques to play on the Violin & Flute along with the Vocal foundation.
Guided practice and diligent use of materials are the main components for any successful outcome. Students are encouraged to try all our self practice exercises to develop a good musical acumen and sing/ play confidently.
