• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  My strong desire to express emotions led me to develop an interest in acting.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My love for the craft and the struggles I faced during my journey inspire me to teach. I want to share my knowledge authentically so students can navigate their journeys with greater clarity. Teaching happened accidentally, as students themselves encouraged me to teach. They became my biggest motivation.

• How does your work help society?

  I believe acting requires empathy, authenticity, and awareness of one's body and mind. Through this process, we learn to understand different perspectives and become more empathetic. Even if students don't pursue acting professionally, I believe this craft can help them become better human beings. That's how my work contributes to society.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  I deeply admire Naseeruddin Shah and Irrfan Khan. They were not just actors but also philosophers who constantly evolved through their work. Their performances challenged perspectives, made people think, and contributed meaningfully to society.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  I'm a professional dancer and martial artist. I also enjoy playing badminton and cricket.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  I strongly believe every individual is different, shaped by their geographical, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. Once, a student struggled to deliver lines confidently because he felt conscious about his accent. Instead of focusing on the dialogue, I encouraged him to relax and behave naturally. He immediately became more convincing, and the other students connected with his performance.
  
  This gave him the confidence to work on his diction and speech. It also taught the entire class an important lesson: acting is not just about speaking lines; it's about behaving truthfully. That day, the students' perspectives changed, reinforcing my belief that acting is a universal language.
