About Andy

Hello! My name is Andy! I am a native speaker of both Spanish and English based in Toronto, Canada. If you want to master Spanish without the frustration of traditional textbook methods, you are in the right place.

I work with students of all ages and proficiency levels. My background is not just in speaking the language; I hold university degrees in Communications and Linguistics, plus a Bachelor's in Design. This unique combination means I understand exactly how language functions and how to communicate it visually and effectively.

When I am not helping students achieve fluency, I am usually diving into new technologies, playing video games, traveling the world, or doing what I love most: learning new languages myself. I know the struggles of language learning firsthand, and I know exactly how to guide you past them.

About the lesson

Learning Spanish is not just about memorizing vocabulary; it is about expanding your world. Imagine traveling, consuming media, or doing business with total confidence in your Spanish skills.

In my classroom, we focus on real-world communication. We will use interactive exercises, role-play scenarios, and topics that actually interest you to build your conversational reflexes. You will learn in a supportive, zero-pressure environment where making mistakes is just part of the process.

Ready to stop wishing and start speaking? Book a trial lesson with me today. We will assess your current level, define your goals, and build a precise, customized roadmap to get you fluent. Let's get to work.

Andy’s use of different alternative approaches, including visual aids, interactive activities, and real-life scenarios, made our sessions entertaining and fun.
They identified my strengths and weaknesses really quickly, and provided targeted exercises and activities to help me improve in areas where I struggled the most.
Andy is quite understanding and patient, providing continuous feedback on my progress and suggesting constructive advice that allowed me to feel confident in my progress learning and communicating in the new language.
