With a degree in songwriting and a strong background in teaching, and participating in doctoral research, I help students of all levels develop a deep understanding of musical concepts. My approach is friendly, patient, and tailored to each student's needs, ensuring a supportive learning environment. Whether you're preparing for exams, enhancing your songwriting, or simply looking to improve your musicianship, I can guide you through the complexities of music theory with clarity and enthusiasm.

About the lesson

My music theory lessons are tailored to each student's level, from complete beginners to advanced musicians. I break down complex concepts into clear, engaging explanations, using real-world examples and interactive exercises. Lessons are usually 30 minutes to 2 hours, and focus on practical application and creative exploration. As a professional composer with a degree in songwriting and extensive experience in music theory, I provide expert guidance in notation, harmony, composition, and analysis. My lessons are suitable for all ages, whether you're preparing for exams, improving your songwriting skills, or simply wanting to understand music better.
