About Ryan
I have worked as an after school tutor since beginning my undergraduate studies. I have help to increase students grades by 1-2 grades from mock examinations to final assessments.
My ability to simplify topics, to provide a rooted understanding, before adding fancy facts, case studies and long words to jazz up essays, helps my students feel confident that they know their subject well. This means they can comfortably create strong arguments in their examination essays.

Geography lessons will consist of introduction to key themes and ideas, advanced understanding of geographic principles, applied case studies, short answer and essay mock questions practice.
I have a bachelor degree level competence in geography. Whilst studying I earn money as a youth worker and after school geography tutor. This has allowed me to develop skills working with young people, I pride myself on patience and understanding with all students.
I know the stress that GCSE and A-Level geography can cause, however my aim is to break down the subject into manageable lessons which should help to simply 'textbook complications'. Ensuring that all students develop understandings of themes, which make essays far easier to write than simply attempting to remember facts, figures and map coordinates.
Lesson structure will be dependent on the students examination board, however i tutor all major U.K GCSE and A-Level governing bodies.
