About Conceicao

I’m a passionate teacher, world traveler, and lifelong learner. I’ve lived in 13 countries, worked with families and children around the globe, and spent more than 5 years teaching English — while Portuguese is my mother tongue. My international journey has taught me that languages are more than words: they’re bridges that connect people, cultures, and opportunities.

Why I Teach
I teach because I love helping people grow. Watching a student go from shy and unsure to confident and expressive is one of the most rewarding feelings I know. Teaching lets me share my knowledge, my love of languages, and my bubbly, fun personality — while also giving students the structure and discipline they need to succeed. I believe learning should be engaging, supportive, and full of laughter, but also rooted in responsibility and commitment.

Whether you’re learning for school, work, or adventure, I want to help you discover that speaking another language opens not only doors but entire worlds.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Conceição dos Santos — but everyone calls me Connie!
I’m a bubbly, funny, and dedicated teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching English and a native speaker of Portuguese.

Having lived and worked in more than 13 countries, I bring a world of culture and stories into my lessons. My students say I make learning feel easy and fun, but I’m also committed and structured, making sure you stay on track and really grow in confidence.

What makes my classes special?
Engaging lessons that feel like conversations, not lectures
Customized to your goals — school support, travel, exams, or fluency
A relaxed, fun atmosphere (yes, we laugh a lot!)
Serious results — I’m responsible, reliable, and I won’t let you give up

Whether you want to master English for school or work, or dive into Portuguese, I’ll be right there to guide you every step of the way.

Book your first class with me today — let’s make learning exciting, effective, and maybe even a little addictive!
