I can help you with Engineering and Maths subjects. I've taught in colleges for more than 10 years, ranging from level 2(GCSE) to level 6 (degree). I have teaching qualifications and a Masters degree.

About Lorraine
After gaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I worked in the nuclear industry. Since then, I've taught in colleges. My work has included roles as an advanced practitioner where I support other lecturers to develop their teaching skills.

My approach is to establish the learner's starting point and build up knowledge from there. Often, I find going back to basics can clear up an area of confusion and allow subsequent rapid progress. This is especially true in a maths-based or engineering principles topic.
