What do we Provide?
We will provide up to four sessions of course directing from entrance to the degree to the career entrance. You can choose which class to take our of four different consult sessions, however the first two sessions are highly recommended.
Lesson 1: Course Overview (90 mins)
This lesson provides a comprehensive overview of the engineering degree at the University of Auckland. It covers entry requirements such as NCEA, IB, and CIE, outlines an efficient study route from Year 1 to Year 4, and offers guidance on choosing a specialization in the second year.
Lesson 2: Give me a Job (90 mins)
Focused on job preparation, this lesson guides students through the application process, providing valuable insights into crafting effective CVs and cover letters. It also includes a mock interview session (2 to 1) to help students gain confidence and improve their interview skills.
Lesson 3: Uni Life and How to Survive (90 mins)
This lesson offers essential tips for thriving in university life, including insights into exchange student programs and practical advice from real-life experiences. It also emphasizes the importance of building connections and networking for future career opportunities.
Lesson 4: Alternative Pathways to Engineering (OPTIONAL, 90 mins)
Designed for students who may not meet the standard rank score requirements, this lesson explores alternative pathways to enter the engineering program.
Who This Service Is For:
Year 11-13 students preparing for an engineering degree at the University of Auckland (UOA).
First and second-year students currently enrolled in the engineering program at UOA.

However, as Civil Engineering graduates, we have come to realize how significant real-life experience and guidance from seniors can be. Such insights could significantly enhance your career efficiency and achievements.
Success Story 1:
We successfully assisted a Year 12 international student from Auckland Grammar School in 2020. Auckland Grammar School's international fees are quite expensive, around $20,250. This student commissioned us to provide information about alternative pathways to engineering at UOA. For a Year 12 student, entering engineering directly was challenging, as skipping a year in high school often results in an insufficient rank score for direct entry into the degree.
This pathway is highly competitive, requiring applicants to be among the top 30. Therefore, having accurate and effective information is crucial for admission.
Thanks to our guidance, the student successfully gained admission into the engineering program, saving both a year of time and a year’s worth of international fees.
Success Story 2:
Another consultant is currently mentoring two second-year students on academic planning and internship applications. One of these students has already received an offer from one of the largest civil engineering companies in Australia and has two additional offers. This consultant is also an academic representative hired by the university to assist second-year students with their coursework.
