About Ray

I was one of the kids that the teachers warned not to draw in class. I was told I would fail the assignments if I turned in papers that even had doodles in the margins. I never stopped drawing, though and now I want to share what I've learned over the years, with you.

About the lesson

It doesn't matter if you don't think you can draw a straight line. I will get you drawing and improving immediately. There are techniques you need to know to build foundational skills, and there are things you need to know to look for, in order to improve.

I'll show you how to draw from life or build up a drawing from your imagination. Remote lessons are well suited to this skill; you don't need to be in the same room with me, and you won't need expensive tools or materials. For the first lesson, just about any paper and pencils or pen will do.
