I have decades of experience as a sculptor, fine artist, commercial artist and maker. I have over ten years of experience as a qualified teacher in art and design and as a personal tutor to students at all levels of experience and ability.

I gain an understanding of students ideas and their learning needs by looking at, and discussing their work, their experiences, and their expectations. I will set tasks according to each students needs, and give them individual feedback on their progress and in relation to any issues they may have with each task. I encourage students to be open-minded and to be willing to experiment with their ideas and the materials they use to make their artworks and designs.
