About Halla
I am a dancer, writer, pianist, and biology major. Due to my persistent academic performance, I am an Honors Society member. Currently, I am attending college to earn a degree in medicine. I have tutored other college students in subjects such as: English, anthropology, psychology, art appreciation, philosophy and intercultural communications.

Above all, I believe that the basis of any teaching method should be patience. After working with a diverse amount of students, I have realized that it is necessary to adapt my teaching style, depending on the needs of the student. After finding that a student learns best visually, then I incorporate illustrations into the lesson. If a student learns best by making connections, then I might use examples and references. It is vital to keep in mind that not everyone learns the same. Subsequent to working with a student, I evaluate which methods are most likely to help them be successful.
