Hey there! I’m Allegra, an A-level student with a serious love for swimming and a knack for teaching. Swimming has been my passion for years – it’s not just a sport, it’s a way of life! Whether I’m zooming through the pool or relaxing after a tough swim session, I’m always looking for ways to improve and have fun with it. I’m all about making lessons exciting and enjoyable while giving you the right tools to level up your swimming game. I believe that learning should be both challenging and fun, so I’m here to guide you every step of the way with clear, smart advice and plenty of positive energy. From breaking down complex techniques to showing you cool tricks to make swimming easier, I’ll help you feel confident and motivated in the water. Swimming Advice and Technique Sessions (No Pool Required) Are you looking to improve your swimming technique, build your confidence in the water, or get tips to level up your fitness in the pool? Even if you don’t have access to a pool right now, I can help you work on your swimming skills through tailored lessons that focus on technique, stroke improvement, and fitness strategies that you can apply in the water. What I offer: Swimming Technique Breakdown: We'll go through each stroke (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly) to improve your form and efficiency. I'll provide tips on body position, breathing, and timing. Dryland Drills: Even without a pool, there are many exercises and stretches that can help you develop the muscles and flexibility necessary for swimming. I’ll guide you through dryland exercises that mimic swimming movements and improve your strength and endurance. Breathing Techniques: Learn how to breathe more effectively in the water, a crucial skill for any swimmer. I’ll teach you proper breathing patterns and exercises to practice out of the pool to enhance your lung capacity. Mental Preparation and Visualisation: Swimming requires focus and confidence. We’ll work on mental strategies to help you stay calm and composed, visualise your strokes, and overcome any nervousness you may have in the water. Fitness Advice: If you’re preparing for a swim competition or just want to swim for fitness, I’ll provide you with swimming-specific fitness routines that will improve your performance once you’re back in the pool. I’m dedicated to helping you achieve your swimming goals, whether you're just starting out or aiming to fine-tune your skills. No pool? No problem! I focus on technique, fitness, and mental training that you can practice anywhere. I’ll customise each session to your specific needs and goals, so you can make the most of your time and get results that will make you a more confident and efficient swimmer in the pool. If you do have access to a pool we could use, I can give you real-time feedback and hands-on guidance, I can help you correct your form, increase your speed, and build the strength you need to improve in the water. Together, we’ll make the most of your time in the pool and work towards achieving your swimming goals!
