About Ayush

Hello! My name is Ayush, and I am a Computer Engineering graduate from Temasek Polytechnic. Having recently gone through many of the same modules myself, I understand the challenges that students often face when trying to grasp new concepts, keep up with coursework, or prepare for examinations.

I enjoy helping others learn and find satisfaction in seeing students gain confidence and improve their understanding of a subject. During my time at Temasek Polytechnic, I also had the opportunity to tutor fellow students through the ENGenius Peer Tutoring Program, where I learned the importance of patience, clear communication, and adapting explanations to different learning styles.

While studying, I performed well in modules such as Engineering Mathematics, Circuit Analysis, Digital Fundamentals, Physics, Full Stack Development, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Data Visualization & Analytics. More importantly, these experiences taught me how to break down complex topics into simpler and more manageable steps for others.

As a tutor, my goal is to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and learn at their own pace. I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance, practice, and understanding.

Whether you need help catching up on lessons, preparing for tests, or strengthening your fundamentals, I will do my best to support you throughout your learning journey.

About the lesson

I have 1.5 years of experience tutoring Temasek Polytechnic students through the ENGenius Peer Tutoring Program, where I have assisted students in various Computer Engineering and Engineering-related modules.

My teaching approach is centered around patience, clear explanations, and creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions. I understand that everyone learns at a different pace, so I aim to adapt my teaching style according to each student's needs and level of understanding.

During lessons, I will go through concepts step-by-step, explain topics in detail, and ensure that students have a strong understanding of the fundamentals before moving on to more challenging content. To support learning, I prepare additional notes, examples, and practice questions of varying difficulty levels to help reinforce concepts and identify areas that may require further attention.

Rather than simply providing answers, I prefer to guide students through the problem-solving process so that they can develop confidence and learn how to approach similar questions independently in the future. My goal is to help students build both understanding and confidence in the subjects they are studying.

The duration of each lesson is flexible and can be adjusted based on the student's learning objectives, schedule, and the topics being covered.

My lessons are suitable for:
• Polytechnic Year 1 and Year 2 students, particularly those studying Engineering or Computer Engineering-related modules.
• Students seeking additional support for assignments, quizzes, tests, or examinations.
• Pre-university students who would like guidance in Engineering-related subjects.

Lessons are generally suitable for students aged 16 and above.

As a fellow student who has gone through many of these modules, I hope to share my knowledge and learning experiences in a way that is approachable, supportive, and beneficial to each student's academic journey.
