About Kavi
I am a young, experienced and friendly maths tutor who has recently finished my degree studying Actuarial Science at Cass Business School, London. Having tutored several students over the last 5 years and being a student at a tuition company in Leicester 8 years prior to that, it has meant I have personally discovered with time the methods that work effectively in tutoring and the ones that don't.
Over the last 13 years, I have obtained knowledge on various techniques of learning that make methods simpler to overcome, memorable and familiar when reciprocated, which in turn has allowed my students to achieve their target grade at GCSE and A-level. This has also given me a very strong idea of the ways in which lessons can be tailored from the beginning in order to suit a students personal needs, to ensure they get the most out of each session possible to achieve their target grade.
Knowledge and experience aside however, I have always been a hard worker which has allowed me to succeed. This therefore means if I were to take on a student, I believe I should help them as thoroughly as I would want to be helped myself, whether it means they have to email me outside of sessions or they need more/longer sessions per week. I want my students to be able to rely on me.
