About Lion-Russell

I was born in Nuernberg, Germany but since then lived in many different cities (Freiburg, Bochum, Berlin, Zurich and currently London) and travelled to many different countries (Thailand, Laos, USA to name a few). I like to communicate to people and share my experience with others, that`s why I want to start tutoring.

I went to school in Nuernberg and later in Freiburg and finished school with the 'Abitur' (the german equivalent to a-level in the UK). Acting was, since I was 14 my passion, and after I finished school I was working as an actor in Germany for two years. Because I wanted to deepen my skills I went to Zurich University of the Arts to train as an actor. After two years I changed schools and went to train at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) for another two years and graduated this year in June.
I have some experience as a teacher. I was teaching clowning and acrobatics to the young talents in a circus I was part of. In drama school I was always the one who helped others with their characters when they needed some advice.

Since german is my mother tongue I will be able to help no matter what level you are; I can help you if you just want to learn a new language and start from the scratch, or with your exams, with grammar, speaking, translating, listening and am happy to adapt to the way you learn best.

I gained acting experience since i was 14, worked with a lot of different directors in professional theatre and trained for 4 years, so I am happy to give advice on acting; if you look for someone to help you with your audition pieces, an outside eye to get a new perspective on your characters and do some acting exercises, I am your man.
