About Irene

Sitting in a quiet Boston studio for 13 years helped me realize that most players stay stuck in their bedrooms because they lack a path to playing with others. My BFA in Popular Music from USC Thornton School of Music gave me the technical framework to break down complex ideas like modes, scales, and fingerpicking into manageable habits. I handle everything from barre chords and strumming patterns to the nuances of rhythm guitar and acoustic technique. My goal is to get you out of your room and onto a stage or into a jam session by focusing on the music that defines rock, blues, and modern sounds.

About the lesson

Why should your practice feel like a chore instead of an invitation to play? Guitar studies should involve playing songs you recognize while building the technique to execute them cleanly.

I apply the theory concepts I studied at USC Thornton to every track, ensuring you understand exactly why your favorite Hendrix or Mayer riffs actually work. You get a dedicated practice module with every lesson to keep your momentum high throughout the week. This 9.0 rated approach ensures your progress remains steady and meaningful. Solid mechanics make music fun.
