About Daniel

I have never officially been a tutor before. however, on a daily basis, throughout my academic career,
I have helped my class mates understand a multitude things very well. I figure, why not help people outside of my own classroom as well.

About the lesson

Hello, My name is Alex. I am a senior in high-school near the Charlotte area. However, I have taken a multitude of college level coarses and done quite well in all of them. Needless to say, I enjoy learning. I am also an amateur Nuclear physicist, Doing research in my garage in the fields of nuclear fusion and plasma physics. I have a fairly substantial knowledge base around the fields of biology, chemistry, nuclear chemistry, and physics.
If you need help with a coarse anywhere from a basic high-school level class, to a college introductory level class in these areas I might be able to help.

My methods of instruction will focus on simplicity. Anything that seems complex, likely has a much simpler main idea to it. Also, I like to use analogies. Relating the properties of new information and concepts to things you are already very familiar with, I have found to be the most effective method of learning period. For example, when the properties of photons (the elementary particles responsible for light) were first being observed, they were either observed as having the characteristics of a particle (traveling in a straight line, and not bending around objects, but being blocked) or that of a wave (behaving with a quite similar mechanic to that of the ones on the ocean)
but never observed with both qualities at once. A good analogy for this is a drawing of an ice-cream cone. you can either draw it from the top and see a circle, or draw it from the side and see a triangle. but only one aspect of the cone can be seen at a time.

In short .You provide a topic, I will make it very easy for you to understand it. If you don't know where to start, I can teach a very good overview of the subject myself.

Also,Also, Unlike other tutors my sessions will NOT be boring. I promise. I have a niche for making learning intriguing and engaging, just as all teachers should have.
