About Jyothsna
I'm currently pursuing my Masters in English, and my areas of expertise include creative writing, comprehension, English language teaching, critical thinking and research. I recently completed a diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) course, last year.
I've always harbored a strong passion for teaching, and English happens to be one such subject which I believe could be an extremely useful, fun and eye-opening learning experience.
I thoroughly enjoyed taking private classes for ISCE and ISC English as well as IELTS preparation, and I aspire to continue doing so.
As a teacher, I can assure you a professional, innovative and unique learning experience because that's all what the subject is also about! I firmly believe that through a little motivation and some hardwork, English could become a very enjoyable and engaging subject to grasp, as it did for me!
I wish to utilize my skills and resources optimally, to positively reinforce and motivate students to assess their potential and put their creativity to active use :)

I often employ modes of conversation via simple dialogue, games, activities and small exercises in creative writing, grammar, comprehension etc, in order to create a level of comfort with respect to grasping the English language. I also try to incorporate audio-visual cues, in order to keep students engaged and prolong their interests for learning English.
I firmly believe that strong modes of verbal interaction, on an individual and group level, can help elevate one's willingness to communicate and learn.
As a teacher, I would always hope to create a safe, fun and innovative learning environment for students, catering to their specific needs and skills, individually or as a group.
I'm looking for opportunities at the middle & high school, college level and adult learners.
