About Divyaa
I bring a strong foundation in mathematics, computer science, and cybersecurity to my teaching practice. I began as a university tutor for nearly a year, where I supported students in developing their problem-solving and analytical thinking skills across both math and computer science subjects. With over five years of professional experience in the cybersecurity field, I’ve gained deep technical expertise and practical insight into real-world computing systems and security challenges. For the past six months, I’ve worked as a professional tutor, where I’ve continued to apply my technical background to create engaging, skills-based lessons that help learners build confidence in both theoretical and applied aspects of STEM subjects.

When I teach, I really try to tailor each session to the individual student: their needs, interests, and the way they learn best. I think learning should go beyond just getting good grades, it should also help students grow as thinkers. That’s why I like to work on building their cognitive and executive functioning skills: things like focus, mental math, and memory, right alongside the academic content.
Most importantly, I want my students to genuinely enjoy the subjects we cover. My goal is to spark their curiosity and help them develop a lasting interest, not just cram for a test. My lessons are typically 1.5 to 2 hours long as it is important that I do not rush my students into understanding the material.
I teach any age range and grade level from 7 years old to university level.
