About Vanessa
I have had 20 years experience in dance & am a certified yoga instructor.
During my yoga certification, I studied the various asanas with a focus on modifications for different body types & injury (or previous injury). I also looked at restorative yoga & the impact of yoga on mental well being.

When teaching I am looking to be able to facilitate the student into finding understanding in the movement within their own body. Different individuals have different methods for learning, and so I use different approaches depending on the student I am working with. With Yoga I am trying to help the student understand what a relationship with yoga means for them.
