About Mahadev

I have been teaching yoga for two years and music for over 15 years. By discovering the benefits of Yoga on the song and music I have wanted to combine the two disciplines by addressing myself directly to musicians. Most of my pupils working in the music industry and welcome the benefits of Yoga that brings their weekly relaxation and concentration they are needed.

About the lesson

Why do yoga when we want above all to practice music and improve its musical talents? Because the musician will tend to work a body part rather that another. A right-handed guitarist eg seek the right side of the body and this created tensions not always compatible with the relaxation and openness that music requires. Yoga is to balance, stretch and relax the whole body by aligning opposed. Thus, artist, musician, singer or instrumentalist, will deliver its full potential without the need to work as his musical technique. On the basis of openness and space, we practice a course of one hour starting with meditation based on breathing, overheating the ground, twists and postures and end with relaxation. Each sequence is punctuated by a singing mantras which releases and allows to let circulate the vital energy in the body and mind.

A travers son cours très complet, il permet d'accéder au coeur du yoga : respirations, chants de mantras, postures, méditations et découverte de la philosophie qui l'accompagne ..
Sa présence bienveillante met en confiance et facilement grâce à ses conseils, je découvre de nouvelles postures, même celles qui me paraissaient impraticables à mon niveau.
Après son cours, je suis apaisée et rechargée de bonnes énergies. Je suis ravie que Mahadev me guide à travers mon apprentissage du yoga et je recommande son enseignement.
