About Karan
Perhaps the least sportiest person at school, I turned to yoga at the early age of 17 when it was offered as an option for PE. I never looked back. I loved the chance to move my body thoughtfully, slowly and mindfully, to connect my breath to the movement, it may have been the first time we (me and my body, that is) actually connected. My mind, my emotions would slow down, I loved the shapes my body would make, but more important than that, I felt like me, I felt calm, I felt more than my worries. Thirty years on, the shapes my body can make are different now, and I turn to simpler smaller movements, nothing grand, but the rest remains as it always has; connected, calmer, grounded, just more ok. In that way yoga has been a lifelong friend.

I am a fully qualified yoga and meditation teacher. I offer a gentle, slower, nurturing approach curated to suit your needs to help you build and maintain body strength as well as rest, restore. I love incorporating somatics and functional movement with yoga to create an individually tailored session for you.
I can offer in-person classes in Putney, Southfields, Paddington and Maida Vale.
Classes are 60min or 90min, I recommend 90mins for a fully well-rounded session.
