About Bonita
"Playing guitar since age 5 taught me that standard learning methods do not suit everyone. I admit that my neurodivergent-affirming approach relies on visual and ear-focused techniques rather than rigid text. My training at Belmont University informs how I simplify complex scales, modes, and barre chords for my students.
I enjoy working with ADHD and autistic learners who find traditional reading of tabs or sheet music frustrating. Rhythm guitar skills become much more accessible when we move away from typical academic pressures. Results come from keeping things simple and direct."

"Struggling to escape the monotony of basic pentatonic patterns feels like hitting a brick wall. Imagine finally hearing the intervals on the fretboard instead of just staring at patterns on a screen.
My lessons prioritize kinesthetic movement to build muscle memory that actually sticks. Students receive a custom practice module with every single session to maintain momentum throughout the week.
