About Sherron

Kia Ora! My name is Sherron, a girl fascinated by piano for 16 years. For me, piano is like my closest friend that I talk to no matter being happy or feeling upset, which feels like a unique way to express my true feelings. Piano represents my child-like heart.

I am deeply influenced by Japanese musicians and composers such as Joe Hisaishi and Ryuichi Sakamoto. These years I am trying to adapt pop music into piano, and I am also expanding my knowledge of music through actively learning and unceasing exploration, trying to have a deeper understanding of different music genres.

I truly believe that music has the power to connect people from different places, cultures, and countries. I used to teach many young children playing the piano during holidays, and I also enjoy sharing my talents with my friends. Hopefully, I could share my joy with every music lover.

About the lesson

For beginners who would like to have basic knowledge of piano and learn singing along with the piano, the process would be:
1. Have basic knowledge of piano keyboards
2. Develop good piano posture
3. Music Reading and Notation
4. Play Simple songs
5. Learn simple chords
6. Build finger strength and agility through exercises, then go to a higher level.
The plans for each lesson would be tailored according to your level and interest.

Feedbacks will be given after each lesson if needed. Online videos and relevant books can be recommended to support your learning.
Anyway, interest is the best teacher!

The recommended length of a lesson would be 1h ~ 1h 30min. If you have a passion for beginning your music journey, feel free to contact me!
