About Elena
I have taught for 10 years, during which time I have received awards and recognitions for my teaching. My students are of the utmost importance to me, so it is my priority to make them feel comfortable and confident about their learning. I never use intimidation tactics - I believe in teaching with more of a mentor/coach mentality. I want all of my students to feel welcome and valued!

I enjoy the challenge of tailoring learning to each individual, based on interests, personality, strengths, and areas of need. I want to help you make sense of whatever you’re learning so you can have that lightbulb moment! I won’t just review your material with you, but instead I’ll offer a different perspective on the concepts in the hopes that a new approach may help you to really get it. I try to engage my students in ways that may be very different from how you probably learned it in the classroom. I want to make the concepts super accessible to you, and I want us to have fun together!
