About Angela

I am the tutor program manager of a non profit organization, which currently serves 400+ students in subjects including math, English, world history, and more. I have been tutoring math part time for the past 4 years, mostly focusing on middle school/high school subjects, including Algebra I, trigonometry, AP statistics and AP calculus. Additionally, I’ve also tutored students participating in mathematic competitions, with multiple of them qualifying for nationals.

With these experiences, I’m interested in teaching online, as it gives me more freedom in time and lesson planning. I love the process of working with students and achieving goals together, seeing their growth is just immensely rewarding to me. See you in class!

As a 4 year math tutor with students ranging from K to high school, I have many experience with all kinds of students. My approach of teaching math revolves around tailoring materials to suit each students unique learning style and pace. I create personalized lesson plans that cater each student’s specific needs, finding their weak spots, and thoroughly explaining the logic behind materials to ensure understanding.

By doing so, students not only grasp mathematical concepts, but also develop a newfound confidence in their abilities, allowing their grades to improve significantly within a short period of time.
