About Kahurangi
Hi! I’m Kahurangi, a passionate piano tutor based in Rotorua. I’m a Year 13 graduate with a Music award and regular performance experience as a pianist in a worship band.
Whether your child is just starting out or wants to improve their skills, I provide clear guidance, structured lessons, and plenty of encouragement to help them succeed. Lessons are available online or in person in Rotorua, and I take pride in being reliable, professional, and supportive in every session.

My approach to tutoring is patient, encouraging, and student-focused. I believe learning piano should be fun and confidence-building, especially for children. The lessons will typically be 30-60 minutes long depending on their age and experience level. My lessons are ideal for children and beginners, including students with little piano experience. I will only teach kids in primary, middle, and early secondary school (year 9) and offer lessons both online and in person in the Rotorua area.
