Hello! My name is Ayana and I love to crochet! I have made projects as small as keychains and as big as king-sized blankets! I work a lot with acrylic yarn, so if you are just starting out or do not want to spend too much money on supplies, acrylic yarn is a perfect option!

I want to teach crochet because it has always been something that calms me and gives me a sense of accomplishment after finishing a project. My dream is to become a teacher, so being able to share my knowledge and creativity with others truly means a lot to me! I work well with everyone, and I have a very soft spot for special needs children who want to learn something new in a patient, supportive, and encouraging environment. My goal is to help every student feel comfortable, confident, and proud of what they create!

About the lesson

Do you struggle with keeping your stitches even, making a magic ring, or understanding crochet patterns?! Well that's what I am here for! I will teach you the basics of crochet while helping you create amigurumi plushies, clothing items, accessories, bags, and so much more! We will learn different stitches, patterns, techniques, and tips in a fun and comfortable environment where you can go at your own pace!

My lessons are mainly for beginners, kids, teens, and basically anyone wanting to learn crochet in a supportive and creative space! Our lessons will usually look like picking a project from a list of fun options and working through it step by step together. During your time away from lessons, you can continue practicing and working on your project, and most projects should be finished within about a week before starting something new! I want you to feel comfortable reaching out to me even outside of lessons because I truly want your beautiful ideas to come to life! Book a lesson with me today so we can get started!
