I like to critically analyse the problem or the situation. Analysing any thing will reduce half of the work and make it easier. Going by concept and understanding is the key. Knowing the formula is important, but knowing how to arrive at the problem is important. It helps in solving even if we don't know the formula. By-hearting never helps.
