About Jon
I have been a tutor for over 20 years. I started working at Kumon when I was 15, and have been doing it in varying capacities ever since. I work now as a data scientist and manage my own tutoring business alongside my professional employment.

In a world of rapidly deteriorating public schools, I teach using the old methods- repetition and understanding things through multiple methods to understand how concepts are interrelated. I believe that when you truly understand something, you can teach it yourself, so I frequently ask my students to teach back to me the concepts that they learn!
We will work on whatever schoolwork/extracurricular material a student has, or if you are homeschooled I will help to create lesson plans.
My lessons are for children ages 7+ who are already have a basic arithmetic skills, all the way up through calculus.
