About Melody
Working with students with learning disabilities has helped me develop new ways to teach, because I learned that every student has a particular learning style. I work supporting students in different classrooms throughout the day and I get to learn the unique learning methods of a lot of teachers, which allows me to analyze what works best with most students. I like developing a nice relationship with my students, getting to know them is important, as well as them getting to know me. It makes the experience of learning more fun. My goal is to debunk the myth that math is hard. I strongly believe that Math is beautiful and fun, you just haven't been taught the right way and that's what I'm here for.

-Establishing a relationship with my student and getting to know them is the most important part - Patience is key to learn new concepts - I like presenting a concept in different ways to my student to see which method they might prefer - Love teaching Middle school and high school students -I had an amazing Math teacher in high school and it made me fall in love with Math - I'd like to get a copy of the work we'll be working on prior to our class to fully prepare for it - Love Math because it is straightforward and there can only be one answer, either we are right or we are wrong and I can help you find the right answer
