About Sharon
I've been working in the sciences for over 20 years and have taught research design, science writing, and data analysis courses for over 15 years. I've taught undergraduates and graduate students. You will gain confidence because I'm very patient and ready to explain simple and complex concepts to bring your project to its full potential. I work best with students who need support understanding their project and ensuring that their work is complete and correct. I will explain the concept so you retain the knowledge.

Perfect! Sharon is an absolute gem! She was so helpful and supportive, sending papers for me to read outside of our lessons and regularly checking-in on my progress. She listened and responded to my needs in the way that I asked, but added so much extra value by exploring alternative ways to tackle my research question. She's clearly an expert in her field who loves what she does, and it was a pleasure to work with her. I left sessions feeling positive, energised, and reassured. 100% recommend!
- Natalie is gaining confidence and showing she can defend her analysis decisions. This is a key step towards mastering the scientific method. Taking steps to clarify her decisions with peer reviewed research will pay dividends.Sharon's response :
Perfect! Sharon was very helpful during our session, working me through various types of biostats questions, in addition to troubleshooting my codes in R studio to figure out where I was going wrong. She is patient, and very knowledgeable.
- Amirah was clear about her needs and was ready to get going on the project. She followed through step by step and was very calm and methodical. She grasped the concepts readily and took off from there. A hard working student.Sharon's response :
Perfect! Sharon was great! She explained the homework well and provided an additional example for better understanding.
- Farzana was clear about what she needed from the get go. She started her assignment and just required some clarification and guidanceSharon's response :
Perfect! Sharon is patient and extremely knowledgeable regarding quantitative research. I come prepared for the lessons and she provides me with detailed and insightful instruction. I feel more comfortable reviewing content with her.
- KayL communicated very well and confirmed she was not seeking direct answers but rather some guidance on her assignment. She was already on the right path and I was glad to provide some background to bolster her work.Sharon's response :
