About Valen
I have more than 5 years of experience teaching ESL to college students from diverse backgrounds. My teaching philosophy focuses on encouragement, interaction, and measurable growth.
I help students improve grammar, academic writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, and reading comprehension. I also prepare them for presentations, seminars, and interviews.
My lessons are engaging and practical. I use discussions, writing workshops, role-plays, and multimedia resources to develop all language skills. I believe active participation helps students learn faster and retain knowledge longer.
I personalise each lesson according to the student’s goals and learning style. I provide clear corrections and practical strategies for improvement.
My mission is to build confident English speakers who can succeed academically and professionally while enjoying the learning journey.

My ESL teaching approach is student-focused and growth-oriented. I design lessons using real-life examples and case studies that connect English to daily life, higher education, and professional environments. Students practise through discussions, presentations, reading activities, and writing tasks.
Motivation plays an important role in my classroom. I encourage students to believe in their ability to improve and celebrate their progress regularly. When learning difficulties appear, I use problem-solving techniques to simplify complex grammar rules and provide clear examples. I give additional practice to strengthen weak areas and build confidence.
Integrity is one of my core values, and I maintain professionalism, honesty, and punctuality in every session. Flexibility helps me adjust lesson plans based on different learning styles and proficiency levels. In addition to ESL, I teach vocabulary development, professional communication, grammar correction, and writing improvement.
