About Jedidiah
Hello! My name is Jedidiah but most call me Jed and I am a Maths and Physics student at Warwick University looking to lecture students of all ages on the subject of either Physics or Mathematics. Whilst I have limited teaching experience, I mentored voluntarily whilst I was in sixth form and secondary school where I took on the role of curating a curriculum that I believed would best aid my students in achieving progress in their areas of weakness. I do not shy away from work: I strongly believe that it is important to become comfortable in areas of weakness and that is what I strive to do for anyone that I tutor.

Should I have the opportunity to teach you or your child I would likely take the first the lesson to get to know you and also assess your strengths and weaknesses over a wide range of topics. Our next lessons will then be spent delving further into understanding why those areas of weakness exist: what skills we need to develop or what related topics have not been covered to a satisfactory level. I think its important for students to be able to be critical of their own skills which is why self-assessment is really important for me when assessing these areas. Once we establish what needs to be done, I will try to establish a key method on how to deal with these topics but, most importantly, also explain why these methods work linking back to fundamentals so that there is a strong understanding of the material.
