About Annabel

I am an experienced primary and middle school teacher with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Queensland. I live in Canberra with my RAAF husband and together we have a 1-year-old daughter named Jemima. I am passionate about recycled materials and The Arts. In my spare time, I enjoy practising various art forms such as drawing, painting, sewing, crocheting, weaving and cooking.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is based upon building and maintaining a good rapport with my students. I believe that quality education begins with the relationship between student and teacher, which must reflect mutual trust, respect and open communication. To foster a life-long love of learning is the ultimate goal, and a healthy sense of humour can really help too!
