I encourage growing independence and my approach entails a combination of theory & art practice in order to promote a balance between an intellectual enquiry and a creative hands-on exploration. Furthermore, my experience as an artist and an art historian allows me to teach students creative research skills and critical thinking. In terms of art practice, I am familiar with a number of art mediums such as drawing and painting, ceramic sculpture, digital art, installation and also have some knowledge in various software programmes such as Photoshop, Rhino 5, AutoCAD and Sony Vegas Pro. I can also help with art history essays, academic writing, personal statements, interview skills, university entrance, presentation/public speaking skills, proposal writing and dissertation writing. I also offer mentoring services to professional creatives.
