About Angel

Hey there! I'm Angel, a passionate educator hailing from the vibrant city of Austin, TX. Growing up in Houston with immigrant parents, I learned early on the transformative power of education. Surrounded by the creative energy of an artsy mom and a graphic designer dad, I embraced a love for learning that fueled my curiosity and drive.

With a knack for thinking outside the box, I've delved into hobbies like photography, music production, and indulging in thought-provoking documentaries. When I'm not busy igniting minds in the classroom, you'll find me unwinding on my balcony, savoring a cup of tea with my feline companions, soaking in the serenity of the moment.

About the lesson

Teaching Method and Techniques: My teaching approach is tailored to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student. I utilize a blend of traditional instruction, hands-on activities, visual aids, and technology to create engaging and effective lessons. With a focus on building a strong foundation of understanding, I employ interactive discussions, problem-solving exercises, and real-world applications to reinforce key concepts.
Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson begins with a personalized consultation, where we discuss your goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. Based on your objectives, I craft a customized lesson plan that integrates relevant topics and activities. We start with a review of previous material, followed by interactive instruction and guided practice. Throughout the session, I provide constructive feedback and support to ensure comprehension and mastery.
What Sets Me Apart: As a seasoned educator with experience teaching Mathematics, History, Photography, and Digital Art, I bring a unique blend of subject expertise and pedagogical innovation to my tutoring sessions. My bilingual proficiency in Spanish allows me to cater to a diverse range of students and facilitate learning in their preferred language. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, explore their interests, and reach their full potential.
Who the Lessons Are For: My tutoring services cater to learners of all ages and proficiency levels in Mathematics and Art. Whether you're a middle school student struggling with algebra, a high school student preparing for exams, or an adult learner seeking to enhance your creative skills, I am here to support your academic and artistic journey. Lessons are tailored to your specific needs and goals, ensuring a rewarding and enriching learning experience. Additionally, my ability to deliver lessons in Spanish provides an inclusive learning environment for Spanish-speaking individuals seeking to improve their English proficiency while mastering academic subjects.
