About Jordan

I am a dedicated and patient tutor with many years of experience working with kids from ages 5 to 17. I specialize in teaching lower-level math through high school and enjoy helping students build both understanding and confidence in their abilities. My approach is hands-on and supportive, focusing on clear explanations, guided practice, and encouragement every step of the way. I believe every student can succeed when lessons are tailored to their learning style and pace. I bring a strong academic background and many years of higher education, which allow me to explain concepts clearly and accurately. I take pride in creating a positive, structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether your goal is to strengthen foundational skills, improve grades, or build long-term confidence in math, I am committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I am a patient, supportive tutor who believes students learn best through hands-on, step-by-step guidance. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down concepts into simple, clear ideas and practicing together until the student feels confident. A typical lesson includes reviewing prior material, learning or reinforcing a new concept, guided practice, and independent problem-solving with feedback. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students of all ages and adjust my teaching style to match their learning pace. I have extensive experience working with children and teens ages 5–17, and I specialize in lower-level math through high school. My many years of advanced education allow me to explain concepts clearly and accurately while building confidence and motivation.
