About Lia

Hi! I’m Lia, a McGill University student with a strong academic background and experience working with students of different ages and levels. I’m passionate about helping learners gain confidence in math and develop effective study habits. I’m patient, approachable, and committed to making each lesson clear, engaging, and tailored to the student’s needs.

About the lesson

My approach
I create a supportive and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I adapt explanations to each student’s learning style and focus on building confidence as well as strong problem-solving skills.
Teaching style
Lessons include quick review, clear explanation of new concepts, guided practice, independent work, and recap. I break down complex ideas into simple steps and give immediate feedback.
What sets me apart
I’m patient, encouraging, and experienced with Québec school curricula. I explain concepts in multiple ways until they click, helping students improve both grades and study habits.
Who lessons are for
Elementary and high school students who need help with homework, exam prep, or strengthening math foundations.
