About Zach
I've been tutoring in mathematics since I was in 7th grade via a peer tutoring volunteer opportunity in my school district, and I branched out to teaching standardized test skills as an SAT tutor in my junior year of high school. After graduating from Wharton, I've worked for two years in private equity, and outside of that, I love music, film, and playing basketball with friends.

I am a strong believer in the importance of bringing together both theory and practice when it comes to my teaching methods. For any level of tutoring, my first aim is to ensure a deep understanding of the fundamentals of each topic - in a field like mathematics where skills and units build upon one another, this goal is crucial in maintaining strong results, even when I am no longer their tutor. Next, whether it be practice tests for SATs or geometry proofs, I aim to give students the most opportunity to practice and learn from different types of problems they may face in an exam setting. Throughout this process, I believe that a supportive, encouraging environment helps foster growth and learning.
