About George
My name is George. I studied German for six years at school, achieving the top grades in GCSE and IB exams, and am now studying German and Beginners' Italian at the University of Oxford. I also studied French for seven years at school and am TEFL qualified. I am hoping to share my passion for German with as many people as possible, while also helping secondary school students succeed in public exams.
Having learned three languages from scratch, I know the challenges that can be posed by language learning, and am very prepared to help students overcome these challenges.
I also have a current DBS certificate, and prior experience tutoring German for the A level exam, and for the MLAT.

My tutoring is focused on the four core skills assessed in GCSE and A-level/IB exams (reading, writing, listening, speaking), with a focus on German grammar. I will guide students through grammar and past paper exercises to effectively prepare them for exams. Lessons typically last 1-1.5 hours each.
