About Kianna-Marie
I am an Illustrator having graduated from the Cambridge School of Art in 2016 with a 2:1 in Illustration. I have been teaching art to children at weekend classes in Chalfont St Giles since April. I specialise in animals and character design but am versed in many artistic practices such as drawing, sketching, gouache painting, digital art, Photoshop and life drawing.

I take a very student- centred approach to teaching. I offer guidance, coaching and fair critique of artwork presented. I act as a source of advice and information for the student to take as they please.
I base my classes on fair critique.
I approach each topic by at first discussing the project with the student and formulating a ‘plan of attack’. I then encourage the student to produce several rough ‘thumbnails’ to help them visualise the final outcome, allowing them to get a grasp of the colours, compositions etc of the artwork without committing to any major decisions.
