About Joshua
Hi, I'm Joshua.
Right now, I'm studying Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Cape Town.
When I'm not studying, I'm making video games using mathematics.
Before all this, I really felt average about mathematics. But after getting average results and not getting into university, I went through a 2-year journey with mathematics from studying, to understanding to tutoring real people with real results.
It was then I discovered the joy of mathematics.
And I would love to share that with you.

About the lesson

Mathematics is NOT hard;
It can be spectacular once you get the hang of it and I would love to share that thinking with you.
I teach in English.
A typical lesson will include:
Determining which topic to tackle (Coming up with a hitlist)
Showing the derivation of methods and the WHY.
Practising a few problems together.
Trying one or two problems of your own
Reviewing YOUR hard work
Extra questions before the end of lesson.
Lessons are aimed for all types of students mostly between grades 10-12.
