About Katie
I’m an undergraduate Student at QUB studying Biochemistry. My course allows me to complete my MSc qualification without reapplication and once I attain this in years to come alongside my BSc, I aim to progress to a PhD in biochemistry to per-sue a career in research led fields. I am particularly interested in genetics and I hope this becomes a key component in future studies.

I aim to help those who may find stress or anxiety in the areas and topics they struggle with and aim to overcome these struggles so that they can achieve high standard results and per-sue careers within the field of scientific study. This involves many techniques such as: recall and retrieval work, personalised worksheets and exams and one to one breakdowns of key areas of concern. My lessons will be an environment where students feel they can be open about their academic struggles without the associated anxiety or stress. Lesson length is tailored to the need of the student and can range from 30minutes to 2hours if needed.
My lessons target students in secondary education struggling with science. I am currently an undergraduate student in Biochemistry at QUB. For A Level I achieved 4A grades in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. At GCSE level I achieved 6A* grades in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language, English Literature and Religious Education. As well as 4A grades in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, French and Physical Education.
