About Shuayb

My name is Shuayb said, I'm an undergraduate student studying computer and electrical engineering while doing a minor in Math. I enjoy playing video games such as Spelunky 1 and 2. I also enjoy cycling. Every summer and spring months I tend to bike across 2-3 different cities. I also enjoy horror movies as my favorite movie genre and I like to watch "The Big Bang Theory" as my favorite TV series.

My methodology for tutoring is purely customized, student-centered learning. Understanding and respecting the diversity of learning, I make sure every student learns in his or her way of perceiving knowledge, and that is how they proceed with excellence in studies. I use interactive teaching methods, where theoretical concepts are linked to real-life examples to make concepts lucid and interactive. Moreover, I encourage active problem-solving with step-by-step assistance and amply practice them so that learning is thorough and confident.

What sets me as a tutor apart is my real passion for teaching and students. Referring to my own ongoing research in the domain, I can offer first-hand knowledge regarding difficult-to-understand engineering topics to instill confidence and deeper appreciation for the subject.
