About Andrea

I am studying genetics in UBC, and I absolutely love what I am doing! Teaching is absolutely my passion, and I have over three years of tutoring experience in primary, high school and college level courses. I have also held several teaching assistant roles in the university.

About the lesson

In my sessions, you are the boss. You will tell me how you learn the best, and what kinds of topic you struggle the most. I will make sure my method of teaching is exactly what you need to succeed.

During a recent live workshop, I asked my students what they had heard about math. They told me that they were told that expecting to fail was the best idea. What kind of an advice is that? Why not just learn from mistakes rather than making them countless times? Why learn from people who made those mistakes? Like me!

I’ve been there, and I can help you avoid my very own pitfalls. When I took upper level math and calculus, I aced it, and teach the same lessons to my students.

Come join me in in this academic journey where I will teach you what you need to know from the beginning. Instead of struggling with the material, let me teach it to you the right way.

So that you’re never stuck, never confused and never lost.

If you’re willing to put in the time, I’ll show you what to study, I’ll help you figure out how to prepare. hen exams roll around, you’ll clearly see the difference.
