About Eileen
I believe that everyone can dramatically improve their grades with proper guidance and dedication. Helping students become confident in their subject is my priority. I believe having a solid foundation of knowledge allows them to answer the harder questions in an exam paper... So they can achieve the marks needed to get the grades they deserve! My passion for learning and teaching is reflected in my grades, where I have achieved all A* at GCSE and A-level. I worked at Mathnasium for a year where I gained plenty of experience tutoring primary and secondary students.

I believe that practice is the key to success, so the majority of lesson time will be focused on answering exam-style questions with dynamic discussion. This allows me to bridge any gaps that there may be in the students' knowledge and help them with exam technique, so they can feel confident answering harder questions. If the student has any larger gaps in their knowledge I would be happy to plan a lesson where I explain a topic fully, before tackling exam questions. Typical lessons last 1 hour long, however I am flexible. I can confidently tutor students from primary to GCSE.
