I am certified in eleven subjects so I can teach English through the content areas if that's what you need.
My more than 20 years of direct, and recently online experience, has established that my students can pass content area exams even at the professional level.

I teach Conversational English because that is the way we learned our mother tongue. I first get to realize the level of English at student is at. With non-speakers, I start with nouns, verbs and adjectives. I teach through advanced level adults by introducing the multi-word verbs which are very hard to figure out on one's own and must be directly taught as well as answer specific grammar questions the student may have.
I have taught students from many countries around the world that have different alpha-numeric systems. With older students, I have them write a short autobiography in their own language to see how fluent they are with the written language. No, I cannot read them all but I can measure a lot.
