About Thanusa

Are you looking for a tutor that will adapt to the students' needs and provide the best possible learning experience for them? Then look no further! I am a graduate in Biochemistry with a 1st Class honours who is going to study Dentistry at Queen's University of Belfast and looking to make a difference in other students' lives. Studying does not have to be a chore, it can be very enjoyable. I am aware that some students require extra help than others with certain content, hence I aim to tailor my teaching methods to suit the student. Having completed work experience at a Secondary and a Primary school I know the level of expectation required from the school and I am here to help you achieve that. Whether you want help with schoolwork or teach specific subjects I am here to help. My teaching methods are more interactive. I like to do quizzes at the end of every session to test the knowledge the student has gained in the lesson and previous lessons whilst keeping a track of their progress. If a student is unsure about something they have learnt at school and would want to go over it in the lesson I would prefer them to message me earlier so I can prepare material to help them understand the content fully. I will also set some homework for them to complete, which will allow both the student and me to check their understanding of the topic. Overall, I am a tutor who wants the best learning experience for the student and will ensure that they get all the help they require to thrive at school. Brathe

My cousin received Chemistry tutoring in preparation for his GCSEs. He was extremely pleased with the methods employed and found the lessons to be easy to understand and much more interesting than what was taught in school. This motivated him to study hard towards his exam.
