About Amad

I possess a very broad experience (12 Years till date) of teaching Physics, General Science and Mathematics in International schools in Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. I hold Master's Degree in Physics and Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Mathematics A and Mathematics B.

Also I am attached with IB Educators Network (IBEN) - (Africa, Europe, Middle East Zone) and am performing my roles as Examiner; School Visit Team Member; Reader; and Workshop Leader.

I am also well experienced in terms of giving private tutoring especially online. I am relying on many useful apps and gadgets for online tutoring including Zoom, Wacom bamboo that I use with my all-time favorite Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

Some of the prominent tutoring skills include helping students by developing exam-tackling techniques for MCQ's (P1 of IB DP Physics), extended response structured questions (P2), and experimental skill and option topic questions in (P3), developing their concepts through presentations/simulations - past paper practice questions with feedback by Marking Schemes, guiding them for writing-up their IA Lab Reports (using tools e.g. LoggerPro, Algodoo etc.) according to the new IB Criteria of 2016 syllabus.

Being associated with IBEN as DP examiner and workshop leader, I have insight and in-depth knowledge of various implications related with marking schemes and IA rubric criteria.

My role as workshop leader especially for the topic “IB-DP Group-4 IA – An insight out” has really helped me over the years to develop my expertise to help my students’ develop and strengthen their specific skills and techniques needed to excel their performance in their IAs. My hundred percent targeted predictions over the years help me to gauge my students’ specific strengths and weaknesses that eventually help me to set targeted framework for their exam preparations. IB based resource and assessment management systems e.g. Kerboodle and Kognity etc. are my key tools of IB tutoring.
